RANKIN COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A rescued dog that has survived cancer needs a loving home.
Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi, or ARF says Brutus was found last year roaming the streets. He was rescued, but then diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy.
Brutus is now a happy, healthy dog and needs a home to start his new life.
ARF does not know exactly how old Brutus is, but he is more than five years old. He is expected to have at least five to seven good years ahead of him, if given a good home, according to ARF.
“He would love a life where he could live quietly with someone who will give him a warm bed, a sunny fenced yard and tons of love. He has tons of love to give,” according to ARF.
ARF is a no-kill animal shelter in Rankin County. If you are interested in adopting Brutus or any other animals from ARF email arfms@comcast.net.
