Traffic Alert: Lanes of I-20 to close for nighttime work
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - The Mississippi Department of Transportation announced this week several lanes of Interstate 20 in Rankin County will be closed for nighttime work this week.
Wednesday the two lanes of I-20 eastbound between Highway 49 and Pearson Road will be closed from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m.
Thursday the two right lanes of I-20 eastbound in the same area will be closed from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m.
Crews will be installing censors for traffic counters and gathering traffic information for motorists entering the city.
