Bond set in Rankin burglaries | News
RANKIN COUNTY, MS (WLBT)- A Rankin county judge set bond this morning for two women accused in a string of recent home break-ins across the metro area.
It's a $90,000 bond for 33 year old Melissa Comans of Pearl and $100,000 bond for 36 year old Carrie Aycock of Florence.
Investigators say the two forced their way into houses in the Castlewoods, Hidden Hills and Forest Point subdivisions.
They targeted electronics -- including flat-screen t-vs, computers, and game consoles.
Several local agencies worked to capture Comans and Aycock at a south Jackson motel after a neighbor spotted them and reported their vehicle information to authorities.
Their preliminary hearing is set for January 31st.
