Skylar Laine to appear at MBraves game Thursday | Community Spirit

PEARL, MS (WLBT) - Brandon native Skylar Laine will perform at Trustmark Park Thursday.

The Mississippi Braves announced Tuesday, Laine will sing the National Anthem and throw out the first pitch prior to Thursday's game. She will also sign autographs during the game.

Eighteen-year-old Laine received national attention recently while competing in American Idol.

The Mississippi Braves will take on the Pensacola Blue Wahoos in Thursday night's series finale.

The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and gates open at 6 p.m.
